Music

At Swindon Academy music is taught through engaging and practical lessons where children have the opportunity to, play instruments, listen to and compose music and evaluate what they have created and listened to.

We aim for music to engage and inspire pupils, to develop a love of music and increase their self-confidence, creativity and their sense of achievement. Pupils develop an understanding of culture, context, time and place whilst developing knowledge on key musical concepts and skills.
