Swindon Academy Delighted with New Technology for Families
2nd February 2021
Midcounties Co-op have generously donated 20 tablets and Sims cards to Swindon Academy to help with the immense task of home schooling during Lockdown.
Swindon Academy Principal, Ruth Robinson offers thanks to the local retailer for their support:
“My staff and students are so excited to receive these tablets at such a crucial time in the school year. We’ll be offering them to larger families so that everyone has the chance to take part in their lessons. Swindon Academy staff have been working extremely hard to deliver high quality learning online across all year groups, but it is essential that each pupil has access to data and devices to enable them to participate. We are so grateful to Midcounties Co-op for their help in providing such practical and valuable equipment.”
It is likely that this donation of new tablets will be offered to the families of primary school children.
