New Head appointed at Alton Close Primary School

LETTER TO PARENTS FROM UNITED LEARNING

Dear Parents and Carers, We have appointed Ms Hannah Allender to lead the school as Head Teacher and will take up her post after the Easter holidays. Ms Charlotte Beckhurst will continue to lead our primary phase on the Beech Avenue site. Both Heads will work closely together with the Academy Principal to ensure all the academy’s primary pupils benefit from the same standard of learning and the same breadth of opportunities. Ms Allender joins the school from The Trinity Primary Academy in Devizes where she has been Head Teacher since September 2018. Before this, Ms Allender held a number of teaching and leadership positions at schools in Wiltshire. As Alton Close’s dedicated Head Teacher, Ms Allender will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school and the overall learning and wellbeing of pupils. We have every confidence that the school will continue to flourish under her leadership and we are sure you will join us in welcoming Ms Allender to the Swindon Academy community.
