When you register your interest for the Grammar Stream, you are invited to attend these events via email, so please make sure you choose a frequently used email - just one per family please. NB: some events have limited numbers.

Grammar Stream In Action at Swindon Academy 

Parents and carers are invited into Swindon Academy on a weekday morning (usually 9 - 10am) to enable them to get a feel for our Grammar Stream teaching, speak directly to our Grammar Stream leadership team, and meet students. This is a 1 hour event including a quick introduction and then parents are escorted by Grammar Stream students on a tour of our classrooms, to get a glance into lessons. This short session is intended for parents/ carers  - we do not expect children to attend during school time, unless permission has been sought.The next date is:

Taster Sessions for students

Tour and taster at Marlborough College, Wiltshire, for students and their families.

Marlborough College host a Taster Session for students while their parents have a short tour of the College and introductory talk about the role the College plays to support the Grammar Stream at Swindon Academy.  NB: participants should make their own travel arrangements, free parking on site

Taster Lesson: Maths Mastery and English Excellence
