The nutritional needs and requirements of various groups.
In year 9 students will be on a rotational basis around their DT subjects. They will spend one whole term in food.
In year 9 students continue to focus on nutrition and the eat well guide however they spend their rotation looking at the nutritional needs of age groups, special dietary needs and cultures. Students will create healthy meals and discover the nutritional needs of various groups and how meals can be adapted for these groups.
