Welcome to Swindon Academy Secondary

Swindon Academy Secondary is a happy school.  Our students and staff tell us this they feel safe and secure, and are well placed to achieve their potential while they are here. We are an OFSTED Good rated school (June 2022), and the top performing school in Swindon.

The Secondary school day consists of six lessons each lasting 1 hour, with a 30 minute tutor time or assembly at the end of the day. Students sit three formal exams each year, so we can give parents detailed feedback on learning and progress.  Our Knowledge Organisers enable every student and their parents to keep tabs on the what they need to learn for each of their subjects. After school there is a huge choice of clubs for them to enjoy. Students belong to one of four Colleges, and are part of a tutor group made up of students from all year groups. This enables them to make friends in older and younger year groups, have mentors and develop a strong sense of family within the academy.
